The Man is a Native American name given to the creator, God, the Supreme Being, or the universe. It is an honorific used to refer to all the male members of a tribal community, representing their singular divine aspect.
Noun, Adjective, Present participle, Past participle, Past tense:
Romans, be subject to your authority (You)
Meanings: superlative (of most excellent quality), chief, great
The masculine pronoun can be used in its adjectival form, but is commonly used in its objective form (he, he is), a form which is, however, still gendered and implicitly means that the speaker is the Man.

RCMP said a huge snow slide on Mount Revelstoke at approximately 2:30 p.m. broke through the boundary of an already treacherous area known as the “Dread Area.”
“Unfortunately the slide was a little bit too deep. We had people out there with shovels digging out the very steep side of the avalanche,” said Sgt. Gary Knowles with the Cranbrook detachment.
The avalanche was triggered by a run-off of rain near the snowcapped mountain. It travelled almost 40 feet deep, Knowles said.
Officials said 25 people were evacuated. RCMP said one person, who was not under any avalanche training, was airlifted to Kelowna, but he later died at a hospital.
Another person was transported to Kelowna by ground ambulance. Knowles said all of the injured people were taken to BC Children’s Hospital in Kelowna.
Knowles said there was still standing snow in the area that was not affected by the avalanche.
“The snow is falling almost unseasonably with high wind across the province. They are very dynamic conditions, and there’s potential that we’ll get a significant snowfall soon,” he said.
Knowles said one of the last people buried in the avalanche was a family member trying to reach them. The family was able to be rescued.
“It’s quite fortunate they got out,” he said.
Knowles said it is likely there were people on the mountain who may have known about the avalanche hazard, but were unable to do anything about it.Main menu
So…here we are, 2010! And my goals for the year are to be better at being present for my family, to learn to like, love, and appreciate my body, to spend more time with friends and to learn to cook. I’m starting small, though. And a good place to start is New Year’s Resolutions. So here they are:
I’m not a resolutions kind of person. I’m one of those slow gains kind of people, but I am making a goal to be good at writing my new year’s goals. I know
